The Genuine Boss / Steel Line Handset is easy to use which allows you to open and close your garage door remotely, when in range of your garage door operator.
This handset is easy to code into your existing garage door operator, please see the coding instructions in the Coding Instructions tab above.
How to Program Your Aftermarket Boss/Steel-Line HT4 Handset:
- Locate the “Learn” button on your garage door opener motor (refer to your opener’s manual if you’re unsure).
- Press and release the “Learn” button. The indicator light on the opener will illuminate.
- Within 30 seconds, press the button on your new remote that you wish to program. The indicator light on the opener should flash, indicating successful programming.
- Test the remote to ensure it is working correctly.
